December 2012

Born in Nebraska, and raised in Boulder, CO, Dennis Mintling’s road to trucking was an unlikely one. Ten years ago, Dennis was a commercial hot air balloon pilot. After September 11, airspace restrictions were imposed, which forced Dennis out of his job.

After being unemployed for a few months, he received a job offer to drive a truck. Dennis accepted, and immediately fell in love with trucking. Ten years later, he is a proud owner/operator, traveling through all 48 continental states, as well as Canada, and has no plans of slowing down any time soon.

Recently, we had a chance to catch up with Dennis while he was preparing to haul another load.

Congratulations Dennis, for being this month’s Mobil Delvac Driver of the Month.
